When designing the salon in 2013, I put much thought and emphasis on how the salon would function housing multiple pets at a time. Some design changes have occurred 2022, with more accommodation in the functionality of the salon to accommodate guests.
Simple, adequate space and safe corners for pet's to enjoy, to curl up in a doggy bed or merely relax with a nap can be found here. Grooming facilities differ everywhere- I've worked in many settings. And the ultimate setting in which I have personally enjoyed most, is that of my own, a cozy, welcoming and comfortable, home-like setting. Your pet's time here is my time here too- and I don't know about you, but, I enjoy a comfortable and relaxed time! Likewise, pet's who enjoy snuggling with you on the sofa or belly rubs on the floor are welcome to enjoy such here as well. Furniture placed around the salon is there for your pet's comfort and enjoyment!
Stepping into the salon, I hope to inspire you to a clean and comfortable environment. A fresh flowing and filtered water bowl awaits for your pet to quench at upon entrance. A treat container readily near by. Enter through the gates of spaw time and your pet has access to a sofa bed, multiple corners of dog bed plushness and/or simply just hanging out with me as I go about the day styling other guests. Your pet has full access of the salon to go about as they please and I trust because your pet has the option to do so at your home, they will treat my place with the same courtesy and find here is a great place to visit!
All grooming is done at the front of the salon, right in front. I have found dogs enjoy looking out the window when I'm styling them and some enjoy greeting other human guests as they come in. The bathing room is in the back. The bathing room was designed in the back of the salon due to the noise the drying process bears as well as the added fur that can become quite a 'snowfall' when grooming certain breeds. A door is used to settle the noise from infiltrating the front rooms 'energy' flow. (If you were not aware that relatively loud dryers are used to hand dry your dog- they are.) Your pet goes through quite a process to be clean and beautiful. Making this process an enjoyable one is of great art. I do not use heated cage drying and all grooming and bathing is performed by me here, personally.
The salon is always in progression in ways in which I can best accommodate pet's comfort. Perhaps it is that of an artist, always aiming to cultivate something new and different while encasing the uniqueness of the individual with fundamental working basics. In combination, details such as the photography studio corner are the encompassment of what makes a "larger picture" as a whole, a pleasant viewing, indeed. It is in the details that make up the whole and such attention to detail matters. I hope it does to you as well.
I look forward to meeting you and your pet!
